Week one:
Five pounds lost - no, I don't see much of a difference. (These five pounds are a part of the ones that snuck on over the last three months that I really didn't notice going on. Oops.) But hey, they are coming off now. The points counting thing isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have discovered more movement on the scale the next morning if I DON'T force feed myself ice cream at the end of the day to hit my points but grab whole wheat crackers instead. I'll have to remember that tip. Perhaps DAILY one-serving-ice-cream-consumption isn't really in my best interest.......
And I will try to post about other more interesting and exciting things between now and next Wednesday morning. I promise (notice I said I would TRY).

Mrs Guthrie..... 5 pounds is good girl! Just keep being consistant and ....... voila! (Okay, I need to receive from that preach too!)
Well Done girl
Good job, dearie!! I think I took on your 5 lbs :)
*lol* you're pregnant, sweetie... You're SUPPOSED TO. ;)
yeah, I didn't really notice the last 15 pounds that snuck on over the past 6 months either ;-) If you were here, I'd loan you all my pretty skinny clothes to use for the next year since apparently I won't be needing them!
Good job on the lifestyle adaptation, hon. Just in time for spring!!
another great end-of-the-day snack: hummus on crackers or pita bread. yum.
I'm a big fan of fat free cream cheese with celery...celery actually has "negative" calories because you burn more to eat it than it has....and the fat free cream cheese won't eat too many points as long as you don't slather it on :-)
