So, Lightning Bites

We had a dandy thunder storm last week. Lightning hitting very very close to you is interesting... Makes we want to make sure I am VERY far away if God ever decides to strike someone with lightning. It makes a very cool bright light, lots of sparks and an EXTREMEMLY loud crash. All of these are indications that your house has indeed been hit by a bolt of lightning. The other really good indicator is that suddenly, you have no electricity. Then, when the electric company comes and fixes the pole, you find that you have lost a few expensive things.... a T.V., an XBox, a stereo reciever... oh yeah, and a washing machine. Somehow, don't ask me how, the computer managed to survive. One bright spot.... It is definitely helpful. BUT, my plan was not to come to Mississippi , leaving behind family, friends, dog, fish and house and LOSE MY STUFF. So, my conclusion... lightning bites.
