LOL I remember a day when our hands would have been all but removed if we tried that... Mom and Dad went grocery shopping as their "date" night...the six of us weren't allowed to come....
*lol* We have done the "date night" thing a few times, but that just got sad... We have to go grocery shopping to be alone???? With the kids being older we haven't done that in a while. Probably helps that there are only two of them, too. And I also hate taking J with me. It is as bad as taking the kids, except instead of hearing, "mom, can we get..." he just throws the stuff in the cart! :)
lol it's not too bad with the bug...if he throws stuff in the cart he hands me cash at the register...but we usually plan meals together while we're shopping...ooh...we've gotten domesticated!
"Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people. The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise."
I live in "rural" New York with my hubby and two kids, have ventured out into the world of homeschooling, and am doing my best to follow God's lead and to make a difference to those around me.
Results from a "Which Book of the Bible are You?" quiz sum up the rest perfectly:
"You are Ephesians -
Chances are you've made a couple whopper mistakes in your life...cause it's usally people like you who really understand their position in Christ. You know it's not by might, not by power, and certainly not by works, but only through the blood of Christ. That's all there is standing between you and the Father...and that's all you need. People find you to be generally more grace-filled than most. You are attractive to the faith, and are usually a bit on the non-traditional side."
