Week two is over, and I'm down two more pounds.... which I have to admit disappoints me slightly. I know, five pounds a week would not necessarily be the healthiest, and two pounds is good, and actually, the "people whose methods I am using but meetings I am not attending" (and whose organization shall not be named) say that the average person will lose two pounds a week. So I'm on track, right? I am pretty sure that if this past week had not been birthday central in our family I would have done better... Birthday one involved cheesecake. Birthday two was butter roll and birthday three was regular old cake. All rather high on the points list. *sigh* But, I did it! I lost the average two pounds for the week and I am doing it the healthy way. You know what I am finding? I am actually CRAVING those carrots and the celery... J's cousin sent up a plate FULL of cake leftover from his birthday, and I don't want to even look at it! THAT is progress... I'm also looking forward to my time on the elliptical and all that follows every night. Getting there....
I have to admit, the Boy offered me quite a bit of incentive to keep going the other night.... We decided to order pizza (also high.... how did I lose anything this week????) and he looked at me as I was putting my piece of pizza on my plate and my three chicken wings and he said, "Wow, mom, you really are serious about this losing weight business, aren't you? What are you anyway, 200 pounds?" ....................... Just so you know, yes, he IS still alive. There is a miracle.

butter roll, now how many points exactly is that? 25? I was doing pretty good on the dessert front here, until I made a cheesecake last night that was supposed to be shared with friends (who ended up bailing) and is now staring me in the face every time I open the fridge. I think I'm in trouble.
200#, wow... now that would be a sight I'd rather not see.
A LOT. I basically didn't exceed my daily points all week and kept most of my flex points (31 out of 35) and then on his birthday just assumed that I hit my daily points and then used all my flex points. :) Later when Sarah and I sat down and tried to figure it out, perhaps I more realistically only used 24 flex points that day.... And all normal food consumption only took 16 normal ones.... Oh yeah, butter roll is HIGH. I'm pretty sure it is worth it, though!!!!
Cheesecake... *sigh* yeah, you're in trouble with the whole thing staring you in the face... but cheesecake is less than normal cake with icing and butter roll!!!
I got online onto a diet sight to show him what 200lbs would look like.... he changed his mind. Plus I was within smacking distance... :)
site... sheesh... still sleepin' (4 hours does NOT cut it.)
Yup, that is grace...you let him live ;-)

HAHAH! He must thank his lucky stars he's not SEEING stars, eh? :)
Congrats on still losing! My mom used/is using this program and even though there are stagnant weeks, she's still plugging along. She looks FABULOUS! This may be my plan to lose the baby weight ;)
Oh yeah... I still don't hesitate to point out a 200 lb woman when I see one and ask, DO I LOOK LIKE THAT?!?!?!?!
Definitely hit a close to stagnant week... grr.... But I am definitely still plugging along!!!! I actually really like keeping track of what I am eating.... that's a reality check!!!
