"I think you went too far this time..."

Those were the words that came out of my daughter's mouth this weekend. I don't see what the problem is...

Her daddy, sweet man that he is, made me T's for my clothesline a couple weeks ago. He brought them home and told me that I would have to paint them so they wouldn't rust. I asked him what color and he told me that it didn't matter, he didn't care, they were MY clotheslines. Huh. "Even spring green with bright pink polka-dots?"

"Whatever you want, honey." Huh. Ok, we'll see if he really means it....

I got more reaction from T than from J. He simply shrugged and said "it isn't my clothesline..." Upon further inspection, he saw that I didn't have a bag that holds my clothespins, so he took a laundry detergent container, cut off the top, and told me I could paint it pink if I wanted to.

She thinks I've gone "too far." I say, at least one of my chores is nice and cheery now.

Now, izzat whacha call a Red('n'pink'n'green)-neck clothes dryer? Looks great! First in your neighborhood to have one, no doubt... and made from one of the shop's secondary product lines, known as S-C-R-A-P's!

*lol* yup, that was called a "government job"... or so I've heard.... And I told J it wasn't redneck, merely resourceful :)

Dude, not redneck! it's purty!!! and the even bigger upside is it's bright enough where no one should accidentally run into it on summer toys :-)

You go girl! You know, I've been thinking of doing a clothesline too...save money any way we can, right? I used to take the laundry off the line growing up...maybe it'll be a nice little chore for Autumn when she's at that age ;) I'll have to hire you to paint it for me though :)
