Silent Night

What to do on a quiet, snowy night when either a) everyone else is sleeping or b) no one else is home?

Curl up in the recliner with a cup of tea and some knitting and enjoy the peace and the silence.

I prefer: play music at ridiculous volumes.

Music at ridiculous volumes doesn't work so well when everyone is SLEEPING. ;)

meh... what are they doing sleeping anyway?

They were sleeping the night before.... We all went to bed, the hubby said, "I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep with this biofreeze on my neck and shoulders. My neck is on fir-SNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOORE." So much for not sleeping. And the volume he was sleeping at prevented me from sleeping for quite some time. Hence, the chamomile tea and knitting.

How much of that white stuff do you have up there, anyway? The littles will be SO BUMMED when the get up this morning... We really didn't get anything. But they did notice last night that TONS of schools in your area were being closed down for today. I think they were hoping to get blasted on as well.

there was lots and lots of snow in our town this morning, and then NONE at your mom's house. gotta love NY winters.

I'm looking up 2 needle hats for you now, since the scarf is only ever going to be long enough for an infant. Unless you want to frog it (again) and do every other...

yesterday was the worst we've had this year....depending on where you were....it was either just a little (by us), nasty (the city) or trecherous (south of the city). I'd say we have about 3 inches at our place.

WOW! I might have you beat.... We left W with a mere dusting... and arrived home to easily five inches! The littles are THRILLED.
