... in action. I found this photo on my camera yesterday. He kept asking if he could take pictures all day long. Hey, maybe photography could be a class for school... Ah, the benefits of homeschooling... While we need to fine tune his techniques (mine, too, while we're at it...) he does make a great subject...
My dreamer...
Have I mentioned what a hard worker he is?

love the first pic! there are great websites with photography tips and such. I bet he would really enjoy setting up still lifes or taking the camera on a nature walk or having T dress up and model... 'twould be a great art/nature/creative arts type learning opportunity. good thing he's old enough to be mostly trusted not to drop the camera.
did you douse your kids in miracle grow? When did they get so big??
and E's got some great ideas there...you could combine art or even home ec into it...that way T doesn't feel left out...she can create and he can photograph it :-)
*lol*, nope, no miracle grow... just been a few years! :) He's almost nine :-O and she's six, seven in Aug. Although, I have heard they are big for their ages.
And those sound like fun ideas!!
already??? what the snot!!!!!
*lol* Yup... I'm not wishing for babies anymore... I counting the years til being a grandma would be acceptable. Twelve or thirteen years is feasable....
LOL I'm on the "borrowing" kick :-)
I babysit a 10 month old once a week...it's baby season at work...we had/have a baby due every month from last November to this July!!
and then there are three women at church...two of them due within a week of each other....
Nice... borrowing works, too. :) More instant gratification than waiting for your nine year old to grow up, get married and have babies. ;) (E, don't worry, I'm not putting any pressure on him WHATSOEVER. Just content in the knowledge that it is a POSSIBILITY that he could meet someone and marry in his early 20's. Or I can wait longer and he can do it in his 40's. If that's the case, I borrow longer. :) )
HAHAHAHA!!! I totally just did the math before reading that last comment and was thinking "man...19?! that's pretty young...."
you know me too well.
actually, he'd be 21 :) *lol* and yes, I knew exactly what you would be thinking when you read that comment!!! *lol*
LOL mom's on us about grandkids...I remind her that there are older siblings...and then I borrow a baby every wednesday...works well :-)
